I used the Visio Save As Web Page feature to convert the WinFS schema diagram to a web page that uses VML. The results are here.
(I was able to modify the generated script code and html so you can zoom in close enough to read the text.)

It doesn't do anything for me either. I think this diagram is so big it fell outside the parameters Visio was expected for their save as web page feature. However, I'm not likely to spend much time hacking around with their generated page to make it work....

Hi, I'm on the Visio product team. It's very cool to see Visio used for this Longhorn documentation. The drawing is huge - five printed pages in size - so, as Mike mentioned, it requires a combination of resizing the red zoom rectangle and zooming in to get close enough read the shape text. The other option to allow for easier viewing/zooming would be to publish the drawing in several pages. Control-click is only going to return information if the shape contains custom properties, and the shapes in this drawing don't have custom properties.

I was able to modify the page so that you can zoom in close enough to view the text. In addition I disabled the details widget (as Dick pointed out, there is are no custom properties). I also disabled the pan/zoom rectangle resize feature to make panning the drawing easier when it is zoomed in easier.
Dick, I guess this diagram really pushes the limits... :-)
